Nick D - Website Creator/Admin
Nick was raised on a dairy farm in rural Wisconsin. Since childhood, Nick has been involved in the day-to-day happenings of the farm; from milking to field work, he has done it all. He has seen his parent's farm expand from a 30 cow herd in a stanchion barn to the present day herd of 500 milking cows in a 20 stall parlor. Nick's background has provided him with a solid understanding of the unique herd management needs of dairy farmers of all sizes.
After high school graduation, Nick moved to La Crosse, WI to pursue a degree in Computer Information Systems. Since 2010, Nick has been working as a Database Administrator in rural Wisconsin.
Nick first developed a herd management program in 2007 after seeing the pages upon pages of handwritten data in his parent's office. After four major revisions, his program has evolved from a simple Excel spreadsheet to his current program, Herd Management Access, which offers comprehensive and customized herd management solutions.
